The mission of APIST is to provide academic education, training in Science and Technology, service and social involvement, preparing the world for thoughtful, productive lives and service in their respective professions and places. The College aims at fostering academic and career success through the development of critical thinking, effective communication, creativity, and cultural awareness in a safe, accessible and affordable learning environment. In meeting the needs of our demographically diverse student population, the College embraces equity and accountability through measurable learning outcomes, ethical data-driven decisions and student achievement.

APIST has the following objectives:
Developing priority subjects that meet the country and the Region’s needs;
Disseminating science and technology for the development of the country and the Region;
Combining knowledge and wisdom to promote Eswatini universal cultural aspects;
Using an educational and training system which can promote creative and innovative spirit and favor active methods.
