Polytechnic Department

Certificate in Architectural Technology

Architects add art, creativity, and beauty to the nation’s daily life in ways we don’t expect. They know how to design our favorite little alcove or how to give our building the best view. Various studies have shown that areas with good architecture and design create stronger communities with healthier neighborhoods and businesses.

Certificate in Electronics and Telecommunication

Information and communication technology are expected to give a significant contribution to the achievement of Eswatini vision and the world driven technology. The constant injection of technicians/engineers in the field of electronics and telecommunication is actually needed to boost the economy and engineering technology in the Kingdom. Therefore, the current program will help fulfill APIST’s mandate to produce the needed well-trained people.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Diploma in Agriculture and Community Development

The recommended candidate in the Science Department, Program of Agriculture and Rural Development is anyone who holds an SGCSE Certificate with 3 credits at least 1 sciences subject, 2 passes in any subject including English.

Diploma in Health Records Management

The Science Department, Program of Health Records Management is open to holders of High school certificates (SGCSE) with 3 credits including English, Mathematics, Biology, 2 passes in any other subject.

Certificate in Architecture Technology

The recommended candidate in the Polytechnic Department, Program of Architecture Technology is anyone who holds an SGCSE Certificate with 2 credits and 2 passes, and some Technical and Vocational Training added will be an advantage.

Certificate in Electronics and Telecommunication

The recommended candidate in the Polytechnic Department, Program of Electronics and Telecommunication is anyone who holds an SGCSE Certificate with 2 credits and 2 passes and some Technical and Vocational Training added will be an advantage
